Questions and Answers About
Car Warranty Protection Plans
Q. There are several companies which provide evaluations of plans. Are these evaluations reliable.
A. Frequently not, and many of the evaluation companies have charges which seem to influence the evaluation. we have seen several companies with poor records and multiple complaints receive good ratings. The Better Business Bureau does assemble complaints and provide a reasonably reliable assessment. There numerical evaluations are better than the number, a company with multiple complaints, a 1.8 rating out of 5, may still get an A rating since the complaints were resolved or at least answered.
