Telemarketing Lawsuit

Telemarketers interrupt our peace and work a day but a number of people have obtained compensation for unwanted calls.

Stop Calling my cell, I'm on the Do Not Call List

While many people are annoyed, some secure compensation.  One man achieved money to open a bar and named the drinks after the telemarketing calls- car warranty, etc.  How do you file a claim.

1. Document the claim and identify the telemarketer

We have secured over $125,000 in settlements.  With a well-supported claim, many companies will settle. What do you need to do?

2. Distinguish Outright Overseas Frauds from violation of Telemarketing Rules by U.S. Companies

There are a variety of bank, social security, "phishing" and other frauds done by overseas companies.  Little can be done about that.  However, where U.S. companies use telemarketing tools to solicit customers, claims can be filed.

3. You need to Identify the Company Calling

Because they are violating the law, companies are sometimes cagey about revealing their name or other information, sometimes 3rd parties will do the initial solicitation.  Solar, home remodeling and improvement, car warranties are among companies that use overseas solicitors to secure clients and leads.  So without revealing person information, consumers may have to listen and appear interested to have the company reveal its identity to allow a claim.  Otherwise, the companies just deny they made the calls.
