Endurance Warranty Problems

While experience can vary, many people have reported problems with Endurance Warranty.

The warranty was supposed to pay for this and I need transportation now

If your Endurance Warranty plan won't pay for a valid repair, you are not powerless. Many consumers report delays, denials, or “constructive denials” of claims after paying thousands for Endurance vehicle service contracts. Below are practical steps you can take to fight back and protect your rights.

Common Endurance Claim Problems

Consumers across the country have complained that Endurance drags out the claims process, demands unnecessary inspections, and then denies or minimizes coverage, even when the contract appears to cover the repair. Some drivers say they are left with large repair bills, lost use of their vehicle, and a warranty that feels “basically worthless.”

Step 1: Confirm Your Contract Coverage

Start by carefully reviewing your Endurance Vehicle Service Contract to confirm the part and failure should be covered.   Sometimes there can be disputes, your policy was supposed to cover engine or transmission problems but some component is not listed.

Step 2: Gather Documentation

  • Payment Failure Confirm  Endurance is refusing to pay and the reason.  If they will not provide the reason prepare a letter confirming what you were told.  If your service provider made the request for coverage, get the request from it.

  • Diagnosis  Get the diagnosis of a problem from your service advisor.

Step 3: Alternatives

Contact an attorney such as our office.  Alternatively you can check if a regulatory agency can help.

Step 4: Document damages

Confirm damages and other parts of a claim

  • Cost of repairs,

  • Refunds of premiums paid for contracts that did not deliver the promised coverage.

  • Payment for insurance, lost wages, or loss of use.  Document the period you were without transportation.  Note some cases may settle with a compromise but you generally want to initially calculate your damages.

If the amount at stake is significant or your losses are unique, you may choose to pursue an individual claim.

  • Breach of contract for failing to pay covered repairs under your Endurance service agreement.

  • Violations of state consumer protection and unfair trade practices statutes.

  • Misrepresentation or fraud if the marketing materials promised broader or easier coverage than the contract performance delivered.
