Ford Motor Company (2021–2026) – Widespread Problems & Legal Remedies

Posted by Howard Gutman | May 01, 2026 | 0 Comments

Consumer complaints to the NHTSA paint a troubling picture of unexpected and dangerous failures. Owners of 2021-2023 Ford Bronco Sports and Mavericks report that their vehicles "may stop suddenly or fail to start due to a power problem," with the loss of drive power potentially causing stalling at low speeds. One owner reported that after a prior recall repair, the battery issues persisted, forcing another visit to the dealership. Regarding the fuel pump defect, drivers have reported experiencing misfires, rough running, reduced engine power, and the illumination of the check engine light before a failure. A stall while driving is described as "inherently dangerous," especially if it occurs at highway speeds, where it could lead to a loss of control and a crash. The rearview camera defect has led to complaints about the camera image freezing or being delayed, which "significantly increases the risk of an accident" when backing up, as drivers cannot see obstacles or pedestrians behind them.
