Some complain of the 6.0 liter F-250 stalling, having a rough idle at start up and emitting white smoke .  Injectors and the injector controller harness have been identified as a potential source of the problem.  "While smoke can indicate a malfunction.  White Caused by unburned fuel passing through the engine. Some white smoke is normal on cold start-ups.    Excessive white smoke could be an indication of inoperative glow plugs, loose injectors, low compression from worn rings  or  bent connecting rods, or coolant leak into the cylinders. www.intellidog.com/dieselmann/idi2.htm

The recall indicates
