Ford Focus stalling problem

One article reports

Ford Focus  stalling problem Motor Company is voluntarily recalling thousands of Ford Focus  stalling problem Focuses because of rear wheel, brake drum and cruise control cable problems. About 351,000 car owners have been sent recall notices. Just over 36,000 will go to Canadian customers.  The recall affects the 2000 model year.

There have been 15 reports of rear wheel and brake drum assemblies separating from the vehicle - 6 of those happened in Canada. Ford Focus  stalling problem officials say the problem occurs after the hub retaining nut that secures the rear wheel bearings becomes loose. Of the 36,000 Canadian Focus owners who received notices about the rear wheel/brake drum recall, 4,351 of them will also get a letter concerning a problem with their car's cruise control cable. Ford Focus  stalling problem says they've had reports of 12 throttles sticking open after wide-open throttle application."  CBC.ca

Another article states:

"The seventh in a series of Ford Focus  stalling problem Focus recalls since their introduction in mid-1999 only adds to questions about the quality of products that Ford Focus  stalling problem is putting on the road. In late November reports were released stating that Ford Focus  stalling problem is recalling 279,646 of its 2000 and 2001 Ford Focus  stalling problem Focus vehicles. This particular recall should be of particular interest to residents of the snowy Keweenaw Peninsula who own a Ford Focus  stalling problem Focus. When road salt comes into contact with the seals on the rear wheels of the car, it causes the seals to corrode and fail. This in turn could lead to damage to the rear wheel bearings, which would lead to rear wheel wobble and eventual failure."
