One problem that drivers are having is front end banging that occurs when
backing out of a garage (turning the steering wheel tight) and pulling out of
the turn. It is quite loud and sounds like metal on metal. On some instances,
drivers had to slam on the brakes and turn the car left (to avoid a driver
coming into the lane). It was so loud and gave sensation that the car had
dropped or hit a brick wall. Other problems are power train: automatic
transmission: control module (TCM, PCM). Also, fuel system, gasoline: delivery:
hoses, lines/piping, and fittings.
In certain sport utility vehicles equipped with halogen headlamps many
experience an intermittent and eventual total loss of headlamp function. The
head lights may not operate properly which could result in intermittent or no
headlight functions; this could impair a driver’s visibility, increasing the
risk of a crash. (source Google, NHTSA).
